Anti-reflux surgery, including laparoscopic fundoplication and hiatal hernia repair, may be considered for gastroesophageal reflux disease where stomach acid refluxes into the oesophagus.
HAL β Haemorrhoidal Artery Ligation
Haemorrhoids are a common condition involving enlargement and change in the haemorrhoidal plexus and anal cushions. HAL may be considered for symptomatic haemorrhoids that do not respond to conservative measures.
Cholecystectomy
Cholecystectomy is the removal of the gallbladder. It is commonly performed laparoscopically, although open surgery may be required in some cases.
Appendectomy
Appendicitis is inflammation of the appendix. Appendectomy is surgical removal of the appendix and may be performed laparoscopically or as an open operation.
Laparoscopic Large Bowel Surgery
Large bowel surgery may involve right or left hemicolectomy, which is removal of a portion of the colon. These procedures may be required for conditions such as Crohn's disease, diverticular disease or colon cancer.
Bowel Obstruction Surgery
Bowel obstruction occurs when there is partial or complete blockage of the small or large intestine. Common causes include adhesions, hernias and cancer.
Breast Surgery
Surgery may be required to remove cancer, surrounding breast tissue and nearby lymph nodes. Benign breast conditions are non-cancerous breast changes and are common.
Diverticulitis
Diverticulitis occurs when small pouches in the bowel lining become infected or inflamed, causing discomfort and sometimes severe abdominal pain.
Pancreatitis
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas, which occurs when digestive enzymes are activated before they are released into the small intestine.

Haemorrhoidectomy is surgical removal of haemorrhoids. Treatment options depend on the patient's condition and symptoms.
Anal Fistula or Fissure Surgery
A fistula is a small tract that develops with inflammation or infection, commonly running from the rectum to skin around the anus. Surgery may be required if conservative treatment is not effective.
Pilonidal Sinus
A pilonidal sinus is a small pit near the tailbone. Infection may cause an abscess that requires surgical intervention.
Hydrocele and Varicocele
A hydrocele is fluid around the testicle. A varicocele is enlargement of testicular blood vessels that can cause swelling, pain or fertility concerns.
Skin and Soft Tissue Lesions
Treatment may include removal of benign and malignant skin lesions, including skin cancers, lipomas, skin tags, moles and cysts.
Vasectomy
Vasectomy cuts the vas deferens to prevent sperm from entering semen. It is a permanent form of contraception.
Ingrown Toenails
Ingrown toenail surgery may involve partial nail excision under local anaesthetic, including removal of the ingrown nail portion and corresponding nail root.
